Waiting for A New Addition

Image
Its a very special time in life when you are expecting a new little one into your family.  Whether it's the first baby or the second or third, its a special time....each in its own very unique way.  Babies bring closeness to families and in particular to couples.  Two people have created a little one that is made up of each of them, that in itself is amazing. A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing a couple that is expecting their second baby this summer.  At the time of this session, they did not know whether they were having a boy or a girl.  Mom and Dad were very loving and attentive to each other and it was apparent that they were eagerly anticipating the arrival of their new addition.  These are a few of moments of their special time that they can cherish forever........ Just last week, the happy couple has learned that they are expecting another baby boy!  Congratulations to them both!! K

The Calm Before The Storm

The Governor has spoken....some areas will get up to a foot of snow and schools are closed for tomorrow.  I went out for a loaf of bread and didn't think it was going to be such a difficult task.  I grabbed the last loaf the store had, lol.  People were everywhere with overloaded shopping carts and checkout lines were a mile long.  The lines at the gas stations were ridiculous and I'm asking myself if we're in danger of being without food and gas for quite some time.  I must be the odd one because I'm looking forward to staying in the house tomorrow.  This is New England and I've been here all my life, this is the norm.  Am I tired of this weather right now?  Absolutely, but this is what it is. Now, it is eerily quiet outside....there are a few people out here and there but for the most part its very quiet.  And so we wait.......be safe everyone.

I still like framed pictures around my house and on the walls.  I like walking through my house and seeing my kids, don't you?  The pictures make me smile and most of all, they take me back to all those great times and moments.  In a way, its like freezing time. These are some of the pictures I've taken in the last few years of kids, including my own.  Kids are so precious and they grow up in a blink of an eye.  Take a look at each picture and see the innocence, the youth
