Fall Foliage

The fall foliage is beautiful.  I'm loving all the earth tones, with the burnt oranges, deep reds, and golden yellows mixed with rustic browns and deep greens.  I particularly love the reflections of color in the water.

Fall signifies nature's regrowth.  The bright, fresh colors that we experienced thru spring and summer needs to replenish and start over.  There is something about seeing the leaves fall on a sunny day, with just a hint of a slight breeze.....or taking a walk and hearing the rustle of the trees and seeing the leaves decorate your path.

Living in New England with the change of seasons leaves many with mixed feelings.  I believe most people do enjoy the seasons but we most always prefer the warmer ones for the longer days and all that we can do.  In reality, when you think about it, there really isn't a perfect season because each one brings something with it that we may or may not be fond of so it's sort of fun to see what you can get out of each season, each year.  Each and every year in New England is different.

Take a look at these beautiful colors against the clear blue sky.

Golden, crisp yellow leaves that have yet to fall...

Based on this picture, can any of my Connecticut followers guess where I shot these photos?

Most often, we can find beauty in our own back yards, neighborhoods, towns....you just need to open your minds to finding it.

Til next time,
K
